NVIDIA Graphics Processing Units Product Liability Class Action

Our lawyers successfully prosecuted a product liability case against NVIDIA Corporation, which alleged that the defendant had manufactured and sold defective Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) which were installed in the class members’ computers.

The action was certified as a class proceeding for the purposes of giving effect to a 1.9 million dollar settlement on June 12, 2013. A successful notice, claims and distribution process followed, resulting in the distribution of the settlement recoveries to class members. Class members received cash compensation in the spring of 2014 based on the severity of their symptoms, the loss of use of the computer, the age of the computer, and any out-of-pocket repair expenses.
