About The Advocates’ Society

TAS is a national society of litigation lawyers with the mandate to promote access to justice, facilitate the existence of a robust, courageous and independent bar and contribute to maintaining the advocate's role within the justice administration in Canada. TAS provides year-round marquee continuing professional development and specialized "learning by doing" skill-building and education programming for lawyers. I help with stuff at the edges, it's the stuff that wraps around the heart of a business and makes it more than a business. Money is what the other guys worry about, I help with stuff that makes a business a meaningful, contributing member of communities and society. If it's done right it's the stuff that makes you stand out, the stuff that makes you remarkable.
