Foreman to Speak at Canadian Bar Association Conference in Ottawa

Jonathan Foreman will speak about The Evolution of Competition Class Actions at the Canadian Bar Association's Competition Law Fall Conference on Friday, October 21.

Chantelle Cseh, Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP will be moderating the conversation, and Jon will be joined by Matthew Levitt from Baker Botts LLP and Paul-Erik Veel of Lenczner Slaght LLP.

The speakers will share their perspectives and examine recent cases and trends in Canadian class actions with a view to recent developments in the United Kingdom.

About the Conference

The Canadian Bar Associations’ Competition Law Fall Conference brings together all segments of the competition law community, including Canadian and international enforcement officials, in-house counsel, plaintiffs’ lawyers, defense lawyers, economists and academics in order to share knowledge, experience and advice regarding all areas of competition and foreign investment law and policy, including mergers, unilateral conduct, cartel and class action proceedings and deceptive marketing practices. The conference takes place on October 21 and 22, 2022.
